Awash With Flowers Card
This is an "oh so pretty" floral card using the Awash With Flowers stamp set. This was one of my August class projects. I saw a version of this card shared by Wanda Johnson and Janice Weightman. Wanda was inspired by a card like this that she saw at Milwaukee Regional – her card was done in Bashful Blue. Janice made a card like this using Pretty In Pink for Convention Swaps. We've all changed it up a bit with different colors and embellishments. I chose Daffodil Delight. Thanks, Wanda and Janice!
The ribbon technique is done by laying Sticky Strip near the bottom of the card across the width of the top layer. Then fold the ribbon "accordian style" attaching it to the Sticky Strip to get the ruffled look. And GLITTER, GLITTER, GLITTER! How about the pretty new Basic Rhinestone at the base of the flower for that final touch of BLING! Love it 🙂
