Here is my card using the Lotus Blossom stamp set….. and it's such a beautiful set!!  It's the first set I can remember that uses the "3 step stamping" technique…..  and it's created in a way that you only have to use one stamp pad to get these beautiful detailed results with a variance of color hues by just "stamping off" to make each layer a bit lighter in appearance.  I'm anxious to play with other colors!!! I'll be swapping this card at Leadership!

Here are the supplies I used for this card:

Card Stock:  Coastal Cabana, Whisper White

Sets:  Lotus Blossom (SAB), Teeny Tiny Wishes (18)

Ink:  Coastal Cabana, Tuxedo Black Memento

Accessories:  Best Year Ever Ribbon (SAB), Tea Lace Paper Doilies (192), Dimensionals (204), Glue Dots (204), Spring Flowers Embossing Folder (Occasions), Big Shot (224), Punches (220-221): 2 3/8" Scallop Circle, 2" Circle

Below is another card that I'll be swapping at Leadership:

Here are my answers to the Blog Hop questions:

1. What are you working on?  I'm heading to Orlando this week to attend the Leadership Conference… so I'm busy making swap cards and projects to swap with other demonstrators there.  I have finished my classes for this month and am looking forward to learning new things and getting new ideas to bring back to share with my customers and local fellow demonstrators.

2. How does your work differ from others in your genre?  I enjoy challenging myself to use new and different stamping techniques.  I love making 3D projects and include at least one in every class.  I tend to lean towards "vintage" in my projects…..  but there are so many new items for us to choose from that it's easy to explore and create all kinds of different things!

3. Why do you create what you do?  I absolutely love sharing ideas with my customers and demonstrator friends.  To me that is what stamping is all about….. sharing!  I became a demonstrator 14 years ago just for the discount, but I quickly found myself getting groups of people together to share our ideas.  And it's continued on from there…..  I have met the most wonderful people through Stampin' Up!  I can't imagine life without stamping!

4. How does your creative process work?  I am truly inspired by the stamp sets themselves.  It's just so much fun to sit down and create something with the wonderful products we have available to us.  Sometimes I can just look at a stamp set or an accessory and an idea just pops into my head.  My finished project may look totally different than what it originally started out to be, but it's just so much fun creating!

Please check back next week, as I have asked 2 special ladies who will be sharing with you on the Creative Blog Hop!  Check it out next Monday!

First is my friend, Wanda Johnson, who makes the most beautiful cards and projects.  I look forward to spending time with Wanda later this week at Leadership!

Second is Janice Weightman….  my wonderful upline and super talented stamper!  If not for Janice, I would not have met the many wonderful friends I have made through Stampin' Up!

I hope you will check back with me….  I'll be sharing more soon!
